It’s always fun to indulge one’s Sweet Cravings once in a while!  Desserts are an integral part of Slow Down And Eat!’s Dinner Party Service, and are included in the party price.

There will be an extra charge for desserts ordered as part of Signature Personal Chef Service.

  • Almond-Orange Torta – a single-layer torte, flavored and decorated with almond syrup and powdered sugar, serves 8
  • Broiled Fruit Skewers with Ginger Syrup – Berries, Melons, and Tree Fruits, marinated, skewered, & broiled/grilled
  • Chocolate Bourbon Pecan Pie – serves 8
  • Chocolate Ganache Torte – serves 6
  • Cranberry or Cherry Clafouti – a light baked pudding, served warm with cream or whipped cream
  • Eastern Shore Date Pudding – a very rich and sweet baked pudding, served with cream or whipped cream
  • Elegant Individual Tarts/Pastries (Chef’s Choice) – Individually purchased or made, best available of market
  • New Orleans Bread Pudding with Whiskey Sauce – served warm with sauce, serves 10 to 12
  • Party Baklava – classic Phyllo/nut pie soaked in flavored honey syrup, either walnut/orange or pistachio/rose
  • Queen of Sheba Torte – European single layer chocolate torte with dark chocolate glaze, serves 10 to 12
  • Strawberry Nachos – individually constructed at dessert time!  Layered toasted flour tortillas, marinated sliced
  • strawberries, and orange cinnamon cream
  • Tiramisu – the Italian ‘Pick Me Up’, layered Savoiardi biscuits, with liqueur coffee, & sweetened cream, serves 6
  • Ultimate Chocolate Billow Cake – fluffy chocolate upon chocolate, serves 8 to 10

The Park Avenue Sandwiches are all made with familiar ingredients in new combinations!  They are large, hence they will be halved, picked, and arranged on platters, so that guests can mix and match.  Selection varies, with different availability daily.  There may also be some minor variations, depending on the freshest ingre3dients that day.  Sandwiches are served with the three Picnic Salads, along with sides of lettuce, tomato, and condiments.  Place your orders 24 to 48 hours in advance!
